Birthday Party! | Twins Edition

I shoot a very limited amount of birthday parties because of my wedding schedule, but when I do they are so much fun! This was my first time shooting twins too! The theme for the party was Mario Bros. and there were a ton of DIY projects..way to go mom! These two must’ve been super excited because they skipped their naps before the party. Who can nap wih so much fun going on!?! My favorite moment of the party was when these two ate their smash cakes. It was the first time either of them ever had sweets. You would think they would devour the cakes, but it was the complete opposite…using just their fingers to poke at the cake. As wedding season comes to an end, I have a couple more birthday shoots coming up so stay tuned! Happy Birthday x2!!!

Mason’s 1st Birthday | Cerritos Library

Mason’s parents went above and beyond with all of the DIY decorations at their son’s 1st birthday party. We attend the same church as Mason’s family and I even had the pleasure of shooting their daughter’s 1st birthday back in the day. They are now a beautiful family of four! Mason was surrounded by friends and family at Cerritos Library to celebrate his big day. Before the party we took some family portraits right next to the library then it was party time! The entertainment was so good and all the kids (and adults) loved it…who brings an eight foot unicycle to a party!!? I had an incredible time…enjoy the shots!!

Annabelle’s First Birthday | Tri City Park | Fullerton, CA

When I arrived for Annabelle’s party at Tri City Park an entire crew (aka friends) were hard at work putting the finishing touches to the party. There were a ton of DIY details and all of the deserts were made by friends! They also had a friend cater tacos and they were so good! Annabelle is such an easy baby to photograph…not just because she’s a cutie, but she would stay so still and hold poses for me haha! Happy 1st birthday Annabelle! Hope you had a great party surrounded by loving parents, friends, grandparents and a photographer. Enjoy the shots!
