Terry + Eugene | Highland Springs Resort Wedding

What a way to end my 2011 wedding season!  I met Eugene many years ago through a mutual friend (who is also in the wedding party) and what an honor it was to document his wedding.  The wedding and reception was at Highland Springs Resort located in Cherry Valley.  This venue is amazing and their ceremony was held inside the very unique Olive Grove.  Their wedding had a ton of great details and everyone was so fun to hang out with!  I’ll also remember this wedding for one other reason…it was the coldest wedding I’ve ever shot!  No joke…the coordinator at the venue said that it snows there!  The highlight of the day for me was when Eugene took the mic and surprised Terry with a song he wrote.  It was a great way to end the evening and what a way to start their lives as husband and wife!  It was great working with Cathy of Chic2Chic Weddings and gotta thank Seanny for shooting with me.  Now onto my 2012 weddings!

Peggy + Richard | Vibiana Wedding

This was my first time shooting at the Vibiana in Los Angeles and it was a beauty!  It’s such a nice venue and so convenient for the wedding party…they provide rooms for the guys and girls so everyone is in one location.  We shot the first look and wedding party portraits in and around the venue.  I did some research prior to the wedding and was really excited about the unique backgrounds.  The lighting inside the Vibiana during the ceremony was great as well.  Peggy + Richard had a lot of her own personal touches on the details of the wedding.  There were mini rhinestones aka bling bling everywhere!  Fun fact:  Peggy glued every single rhinestone on her shoes!  It was great working with Caroline of Serentiy Events! Thanks again Seanny for shooting with me!  One more wedding from 2011 to share and we’re onto 2012…it’s gonna be another great year of weddings!

Anh + Curtis | Palm Event Center Wedding

Flying up to shoot Anh + Curtis’ wedding was great!  I met almost the entire wedding party and immediate family about a month prior to shoot their “other” wedding HERE.  It was great seeing familiar faces!  We started our day at Juni Salon in Oakland for getting ready shots with the ladies.  Then headed over to the Palm Event Center to take portraits of the family and wedding party.  This venue was amazing!  The background to their ceremony was a vineyard…how can you go wrong!?!  I’ve seen this venue on other photographer’s blogs and never thought I’d have the opportunity to shoot there!  And guess what…I head back this summer to shoot another wedding there woo hoo!  Thanks to Jerome for traveling and shooting with me.  Enjoy the images below…I have a couple more weddings from 2011 to share so stay tuned!
